Acer releases new 3D computer display and new 3D projector
November 30th, 2011 by adminAcer Incorporated has announced the launch of two new products that can convert your 2D content to 3D for you to enjoy.
The products include the HR274H 3D computer display and the new H9500BD projector.
The new computer monitor comes with a new Acer chip-based 3D conversion solution that turns 2D into 3D without the need for software. The display also sports passive polarized glasses that are much cheaper than active 3D glasses.
The new HR274H 3D computer display is 27 inches in size and has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 for full HD 3D content and video gaming. The 3D chip supports any video card there is and the display comes with a single pair of
The other debutant is the new H9500BD projector that will support 3D tech from NVIDIA. The novelty also converts from 2D to 3D automatically and has full 1080p resolution and throws an image up to 300-inches diagonally. The projector comes with DLP tech, 3D software and refreshes at 120 Hz. Other specs include 50 000:1 contrast ratio and use of active shutter 3D glasses. Brightness is 2000 ANSI lumens and there is also support for 16:9 and 4:3 ratios.
Prices for the display and projector are 599 USD and 1999 USD accordingly.
Oakley with Special Edition Transformers: Dark of the Moon 3D Glasses
June 20th, 2011 by adminThe famous sport equipment company Oakley has announced a special edition passive 3D glasses to commemorate the debut of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” film, which features film-inspired art and allowing you to use them for 3D entertainment in the home and the cinema.
Based on the Oakley’s 3D GASCAN model, the glasses have Three-Point Fit, lightweight O Matter frame with different color icon on each side – AUTOBOT SHIELD icon on the one side, while the other carries the emblem of the DECEPTICON shield icon. They are equipped with “optically correct”3D lenses which eliminate glare and reflections, and offering truer alignment of 3D images with an “uncompromising degree of color fidelity.

This limited edition 3D glasses comes with a Microclear bag for protection and lens cleaning, and will also be available at other Oakley Stores as well as Oakley.com, Amazon.com, Sunglasshut.com and Zappos.com. The price is quite juicy – $150!
